Visited from UK with a birdwatching group. Everything was perfect. Stunning location. Fabulous en suite accommodation. Cranes and Geese and owls from the reception. Lovely hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back again next year.

A real top location for bird watchers. Very nicely finished accommodations. Beautiful, spacious rooms and top-finished bathroom. The hostess and host are super friendly and provide telescopes to watch the birds in the nature reserve behind them from the terrace. From this location you can take guided excursions on request. Very tasty meal, nice wine. The entrance gate takes a bit of searching. This is a very busy location so booking in advance is highly recommended!

What a beautiful, peaceful spot with outstanding birding and lovely hosts. The food is fabulous and healthy, the rooms spatious and quiet, and the view from the lodge is never ending entertainment for birders and aficionados of Hungary’s native livestock breeds like the grey cattle. I can’t imagine a better place to stay near Hortobagy National Park.

We loved our 5 nights’ stay here. We were mostly birding and touring the countryside with a guide. The lodge was comfortable, spacious, and in a spectacular setting on the edge of the national park. They are very well set up for birders, lots of spotting scopes on the porch and field guides at hand. The food was possibly the best part, wonderful home cooking by the owners and varied dishes. Would love to stay again!!

A wonderfully welcoming and comfortable Lodge. Thank you Tibor and Orsi.Spacious, very comfortable rooms. Excellent tasty home cooked meals, lovely wine and plentiful coffee. From our rooms verandah and from the dining room we watched 10,000 Cranes, Thousands of Geese, White Front, Lesser White Front and Red Breasted, as well as birds of prey, including a Saker Falcon feeding on a Goose. The sights and sounds were amazing.

How to describe Bibic Lodge? Our hosts,Tibor and Orsi, made it an extraordinary and outstanding stay.Their hospitality, kindness and availability to fulfill you all wishes are rarely found in hotel business. We stayed there with “Saker Tours “ with other photographers and want to come back again at any time.

We spent 4 days at the Bibic Lodge, the accommodation is beautifully designed and furnished and Tibi and Orsi were attentive and generous hosts. My gluten free needs were deliciously and fully accommodated and the vegetarians in our group also had delicious food. We travelled with 8 other British people on a nature tour.
