We had the most amazing for days at Bugac puszta. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and valued for money with fantastic puszta views. The horse show was the best we could have hoped for and the Karikás Csárda customer service and meal quality was second to none. Thank you.

Einfach ein TRAUM!! Perfekt organisiert, total nette Organisatorin an der Rezeption. Für uns Österreicher sogar deutsche Erklärungen. Kutschenfahrt und Reitvorführungen top (viel schöner als in Hortobagy). Camping super. Bekamen sogar Wanderwege erklärt. Highlight auf unserer Ungarn Rundreise. Danke an alle!

Add an extra day to your visit to Budapest and get out of town to see this great show put on by these extraordinary horsemen. Such skills which have been handed down over the ages and kept alive by this small band of cowboys. Add this to a wonderful lunch back at the ranch and the informative museum and it's an experience not to be missed.

I have experienced this wonderful place four times now! Everytime I bring someone new to this wonderful country, I have to bring them. Lovely people and really interesting and fun! We start with a carriage ride past old style pasztor shelters to the small herder museum. Then there is a wander among long horned cows, mangalica Hungarian pigs and sheep. Finally a terrific show demonstrating magnificent horsemanship and beautiful Hungarian horses! And don’t miss lunch in the wonderful csarda!!!

Wir waren auf der Vorstellung der Cikós und was der Wahnsinn war und wir in dieser Form noch nie erlebt haben, das Steppenvolk-Treffen. Es war wie ein Traum <3

N'hésitez pas à faire un détour par ce parc pour y rencontrer les " Csikos ", autrement dit les cow boys de la Puzta et admirer leurs prouesses et leurs qualités de cavaliers lors de leurs spectacles. C'est époustouflant !

We were on our way from Budapest to Novi Sad in Serbia and took off to the small village Bugac. Just outside the village on a nearby farm, there was a very little announced show by the "Pustan cowboys". The farm itself was a nice setting but the show as such was amazing at a totally unexpected level. Go there if you can! It's well worth it. Then take the opportunity to have lunch on the farmstead.
