The Central Market Hall is a must visit location when in Budapest. On the upper level, there are many humble looking stalls selling a variety of local snacks and meals. We tried Panorama and had a hearty and homely meal of Beef Stew and Stuffed Cabbage. Absolutely fantastic! Really friendly staff and tasty food. It's cheap and cheerful stuff but flavoursome and big portions. If you want some genuine local Hungarian flavours, look no further!

Best “Lecsó” I had in a while, for a relatively low price. Goes will with rice, bread or simply by itself. For a true Hungarian experience, have a shot of Unicum before eating.

This was our very first meal in Budapest, and it was a lovely experience. The owners of the restaurant were so nice to us. I wanted to try the beef stew dish, but was too full, so I asked if I could pay for a little bit of it. They placed some on a bowl for me for free. That was a very kind gesture. The fish soup was something my wife thoroughly enjoyed. In this place, you get a literal panaroma of the famous Budapest Central Market.
