Excellent place! I stayed in the Astoria hotel with my husband and visited three times in this cafe/restaurant of the hotel. Interior is beautiful and atmosphere really peaceful and nice. Staff was very friendly and polite. Food and cakes, cafes and cocktails were very good quality. Prices more than reasonable. We both really enjoyed visiting this place - both on cafe and restaurant sides.

A rear hotel that awakes a wish to travel in time, I wish they have some publicly open archive of their history.The room large with a washroom and a powder room, amazing views from the window. Comfortable large bed. The restaurant , food, deserts perfect, The jewelry has wonderful selection of art-nouveau items.

Nous avons sélectionné un peu au hasard ce restaurant en passant devant. Nous avons réservé une table de 6 personnes et avons passé un beau moment. Le lieu est beau et le service est de qualité. En surprise: un orchestre qui nous a accompagné pendant le repas. Nous avons aimé les plats et les desserts. Une belle adresse ... le café étant lié à l hôtel du même nom.

Gutes Essen, etwas teurer als üblich in Budapest, aber völlig gerechtfertigt. Gute Wein Auswahl mit vernünftigen Preisen. Wir haben es sehr genossen vernünftige Portionen zu bekommen, und nicht wie in den Touristen Restaurants wo von allem zu viel und zu fett aufgetischt wird.

they spoiled me. The service was grate, the place is still old Europe, with the ambiance. If you wish to be in the old fashion service and atmosphere, this is a must see and must go to...place.
