Came here for a late lunch last Friday on our way to visiting the Fishermans Bastion. We did not have a booking, so we had to wait for 15 mins or so with a drink as every table was taken by locals - a good sign! Service was friendly and prompt, and the food was great. Highly recommend the goulash, very tasty, and my wifes chicken burger was the best she has every had!!! Reasonably priced too, would definitely go there again - lovely homely place.

We live next door and never came to eat here, only for drinks. What a mistake! I had a salad with spare ribs and they were best I had in Hungary past 3 years - smoky and not too spicy lots of flavor. It’s great for wine and beers but they Also make nice Lemonade without sugar.

Abbiamo trovato questo posto per caso scendendo dal Bastione dei Pescatori a Buda. Abbiamo optato per due birre rinfrescanti godendoci questo giardino tranquillo. Il cameriere era super preparato in merito alla vasta scelta di birre offerta dal locale, i prezzi leggermente sopra la media giustificati dalla qualità delle birre nazionali e non. Super consigliato!

Really nice to find a place that carries microbrews so close to the castle. Enjoyed a Legenda Snakebite IPA & Tavoli Galaxis IPA both on tap.Nicely decorated, quaint place with 4 tables. Hungarian style toast(sandwich) was very good too. Highly recommended for a pint(actually 1/2 liter) and a light meal or snack.

The craft beer selection was unbelievable. I had a glass of Joker face from the tap. Was very tasty. Friendly staff. Affordable prices which is rare in this area. Loved the historical ambiance outdoor. We had a great time there. I will definitely go back when visiting Budapest again.
