This was the nearest restaurant to our hotel so on the first night we were in Budapest we decided to eat there for convenience. And we had read some good reviews of the food.These reviews were well justified as we had a very good meal. The dishes seemed much more subtle than one usually gets in the UK. There was a particularly good spinach Dahl - quite one of the best I've ever tasted.Sadly there were only a couple of other tables occupied. The restaurant deserves better.

Found this restaurant by chance as passing after a long hike around Budapest. So glad we went back later as it was an all round great experience. The Menu choices ,the ambience and in particular the young lady who served us who knew the menu and food inside out and went the extra mile to serve us she was a credit to the establishment. The garlic Naans were so perfect. Would recommend the Tikka Panner Masala especially. Would definitely go again.

The service was amazing, from start to finish. Our server was very helpful when taking our order, talking us through the different dishes. When the food came it was beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here for a meal.

Enjoyed dining at Karol Bagh. All the decorations, tablecloth etc. are authentic Indian from a Place called Karol Bagh in East Delhi. Ordered Manchurian cauliflower, daal makhni, butter paneer( cheese), basmati rice pulav. All selections were excellent with butter paneer being exceptional. Courteous and friendly service. Will highly recommend.
