I visited the cafe three times. The coffee was good, the cheesecake delicious and the red wine of high quality. The staff were helpful and friendly. I wish I had eaten lunch there.

Fine dining restaurant but we were not turned away as tourists for being dressed casually. Anyway, food was very tasty, Gabriel, our server provided great service and the live piano music was entertaining, kudos to the pianist👏👏👏

We discovered this jewel our last night in Budapest and had a really great moment, the food, the atmosphere authentic Hungarian deco, history, piano, degustation of local snaps, delicious foie gras and a great selection of wine. Absolutely happy it was like having a dinner 50 years ago !!!

This quaint cafe/restaurant was just around the corner from where we were staying and I'm sure glad we found it. The prices are exceptional for the area as the owner refuses to gouge his customers and continues ( according to his son) to offer great succulent selections at a very reasonable price. The service was friendly and prompt. Wine and beer--excellent Hungarian--were served in large quantities. I sincerely hope this unique cafe is still around when we return.

That was the first restaurant I visited in Budapest and I really enjoyed the experience. The quality of the food was incredible. The goose liver was superb! And of course goulash! Prices are very reasonable. There is a life music in the evening.

My friend and I were out and decided to stop for dinner. We were not dressed up for a dinner out, but the staff treated us as though we had just come from the opera.My Hungarian is poor but the wait staff was patient. My friend is quite fluent and chimed in and helped. If you live in Budapest you know this can go either way!The food was very good- I had noodles and she had pate.
